Services
What are your fees?
Fees for trauma services are based on a sliding scale (at a maximum of $150/session) and predoctoral trainees are supervised by licensed psychologist, and founder, Jodie Maccarrone, PhD.
At times, it may be beneficial to schedule extended sessions and the costs will be adjusted based on these baseline amounts.
Do you accept insurance?
No, trauma-informed services provided by predoctoral trainees are not covered by insurance companies.
Do you offer telehealth sessions?
Yes! For video sessions, we use a secure HIPAA compliant platform, Simple Practice. Simple Practice can be accessed on your computer browser or by downloading an app to your mobile device.
Do you offer in-person services?
Yes, and we prefer in-person sessions, if possible but a hybrid approach is also supported. In-person services allow for a strong therapeutic alliance to be built which is key to promote healing, safety and growth. We have offices in Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Coconut Creek.
How can I schedule an appointment?
Scheduling an appointment is easy! You can either call our offices directly (561) 794-4760 or request an appointment from the online form.
When will I see results?
This is a difficult question to answer because everyone defines success differently. However, you should expect to feel some immediate relief and reduced symptoms after the 2nd or 3rd session and measurably better by 8–12 sessions. Long-term changes often requires more time, lasting for a year or more.
Preparing for your first appointment
Paperwork will be emailed to you ahead of our first session via the patient portal. Please complete this documentation no later than 48 hours in advance of our appointment day and time. Once this is received, you will be contacted to confirm the therapy session.
Your first session will be 2 hours and will be focused on getting to know each other and establishing a plan for working together.
Individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long, and held weekly.
Payment is expected the day of the session in the form of a credit or debit card and can be paid online. You will receive a link for payment from the patient portal.
Please note: Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid payment.
