In my therapy practice, I work with adults having trouble balancing the internal (e.g., what the self wants, and needs) and external demands of everyday life (e.g., work, school, family, and social). Most of the time this imbalance results in anxiety, depression, physical illness, mood swings, or erratic behavior.
In addition, I provide insight-oriented psychotherapy to individuals who seek to enhance their overall health, psychological well-being, performance, or self-understanding.
I offer a hybrid therapy solution including in-person and telehealth sessions customized to your needs.

CONSULTING
Outcome-focused consultation sessions on demand
I recognize the need for a novel viewpoint and innovative thinking when facing pivotal moments, be it in your personal or professional life. A consulting session is a focused session scheduled outside of the traditional therapeutic frame. I have worked with individuals at their offices and bedside should a hospital stay be required. Each consultation is different.
During our consulting sessions, we will collaborate to pinpoint the issues you are confronting and efficiently devise a strategy to move forward.
Examples of consulting work range from preparation for an important conversation, meeting, promotion, or workshop, to intensive psychotherapeutic support after a serious health event, marriage dissolution, or significant loss.
Physical and mental health are not separate.
All my training has confirmed the importance of maintaining physical and mental health. We often ignore one or the other.
Cutting-edge science has confirmed that the mind-body connection is undeniable. Our emotional lives manifest as cortisol, dopamine, and many other neurochemicals and hormones in our bodies. Imbalance causes us to feel fatigued, run-down, and eventually unwell.
My education in health psychology and experience working in hospitals, neurology, and primary health settings allows me to work collaboratively with you to evaluate all the contributors that challenge or impair your physical and mental health.
Chronic conditions and acute events are particularly jarring to our identity as they are often accompanied by fear and limited functioning that can be very painful and difficult to work through alone even with complete family support.
You can feel better, and have a renewed outlook on life.
Paperwork will be emailed to you ahead of our first session via the patient portal. Please complete this documentation no later than 24 hours in advance of our appointment day and time. Once this is received, you will be contacted to confirm the therapy session.
Our first session will be 2 hours at a rate of $375 and will be focused on getting to know each other and establishing a plan for working together.
Individual therapy sessions are at a rate of $250, are typically 50 minutes long, and held weekly.
Payment is expected an hour prior to the session in the form of a credit or debit card and can be paid online. You will receive a link for payment from the patient portal.
Please note: Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid payment.
